JONES, Justice.
This is an appeal from a decree of the Garland County Chancery Court wherein John Dix was awarded a money judgment against Louis E. Dodd, Irene Dodd and Paul G. Goodwin for $1,395.25 balance due on a street or roadway surfacing contract, but which denied a materialmen's and laborer's lien on the land. Dix has appealed from that portion of the decree denying the lien.
