This is an appeal by an ex-husband from a post final (divorce) decree order entering judgment against him for past due alimony and granting his petition for reduction of alimony.

The parties were divorced by a decree of the circuit court on May 11, 1950, in which the alimony provided for was $12,400 for the first year and $10,400 per year thereafter, payable in weekly installments. Beginning in 1957, the husband became in arrears. For that year...
