The plaintiffs seek to recover a commission which they allege to be due pursuant to an oral contract with the defendant Hillcrest Center, Inc. and its president Jesse Shepherd, whereby plaintiffs were to procure mortgage financing for a contemplated shopping center. The jury returned a verdict for $28,000 against Hillcrest Center, Inc., but found Shepherd not guilty. Judgment was entered on the verdict and Hillcrest...
