This appeal is from the decision of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in consolidated opposition and cancellation proceedings, 145 USPQ 91. Appellant, hereinafter designated Rockwood, sought to register "BAG-O-GOLD" as a mark for candy,1 asserting ownership of a registration of the mark "ROCKWOOD BAG-O-GOLD" for candy.2 Appellee, hereinafter Hoffman, brought an opposition against the application...
