This appeal involves an issue as to alimony in a divorce action. The wife, appellant here, was granted a divorce by a decree of Judge Bates of the Richland County Court, on September 9, 1966, on the ground of physical cruelty. The decree settled certain property rights and awarded the wife alimony at the rate of $100.00 per month for a period of twelve months, commencing October 1, 1966.
