The appeal and cross appeal at bar concern patent rights and trade secrets respecting a "Snap Action Device" among whose uses are a switch for an automobile directional signal flasher, a thermostat, a circuit breaker and an overload protector. In the suit at bar, however, we are concerned only with the device's use as a switch for an automobile directional signal flasher. We shall discuss it primarily in this connection.
