This is a derivative stockholders suit. The complaint was filed by a stockholder of the defendant, Norfolk and Western Railway Company (N & W). The other defendants are The Pennsylvania Railroad Company (PRR) and The Pennsylvania Company (Pennsylvania), a holding company of the PRR.
