Plaintiff sued defendant for wrongful attachment and garnishment. He had a verdict and judgment for actual damages in the sum of $500.00, and for exemplary damages in the sum of $1,500.00. Defendant counterclaimed for the unpaid balance of a note and chattel mortgage and the verdict was for plaintiff on that issue and defendant did not appeal.
