Petitioner, serving a sentence of from five to ten years imposed under a judgment of conviction for robbery, third degree, entered in Bronx County Court on April 27, 1962, seeks his release under a federal writ of habeas corpus. He was sentenced as a second felony offender. His basic attack is directed to an earlier conviction for attempted grand larceny in the second degree entered in the former Court of General Sessions...
