The plaintiff, an unincorporated fraternal organization, brought this action against the commissioner of state police and the chief of police of Newington, seeking a declaratory judgment that § 53-300 of the General Statutes, described in the complaint as "Public Act No. 154", does not prohibit bingo games on Sunday.
