LOCKWOOD, Justice:

J.L. Maness, while employed as a journeyman carpenter, suffered an industrial accident when he fell backward over a roof onto a concrete curbing. He sustained injuries to his skull, spine, left wrist, left ring finger, ribs, and his right foot.
