OPINION

KELLEHER, Justice.

These actions of trespass on the case were brought by the minor plaintiff and her father for personal injuries and consequential damages, respectively, resulting from the alleged negligence of the defendant. In each case, the superior court sustained the defendant's demurrer to the declaration. The plaintiffs are before us on their respective exceptions taken to the action of the trial justice.
