Plaintiff brought suit for divorce in the district court for the Parish of Caddo, alleging that he had been separated from his wife for more than two years and had been a resident of Louisiana for more than two years. Upon trial of the case it was established that plaintiff had been separated from his wife for more than two years— probably over 30 years. The trial judge held, however, plaintiff had failed to make factual proof of his residency...
