This appeal involves two cases arising from a single automobile-truck collision. The cases were consolidated for both trial and appeal.

In suit No. 2686, the plaintiff Mrs. Leonise Collins, wife of Abraham Smith, seeks damages for personal injuries sustained when a car driven by her husband collided with a truck owned and operated by Jefferson Parish Garbage District No. 1.
