On May 8, 1964, libellant Chester Bailey was employed as an ordinary seaman aboard the S.S. "Mormaclake", a vessel owned and operated by respondent. On that date, at approximately 7:00 A.M., in the Port of Baltimore, Maryland, while in the course of his duties and acting pursuant to orders in assisting in the docking of the vessel, libellant was struck across the right ankle by the vessel...
