George L. Smith was found guilty by a jury in Stevens County of committing the crime of second degree burglary. Thereafter a supplemental habitual criminal information was filed which alleged that George L. Smith had previously been convicted in the state of Washington of the following felonies:

  Second Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny...
