Appellants Norris and Parham, and their codefendant Alvarez (who is not appealing), were charged in count I with statutory rape, in violation of Penal Code section 261, subdivision 1, in that they did have sexual intercourse with a girl named Betty, aged 16. In count II Alvarez was charged with oral copulation with a girl named Doranne, in violation of Penal Code section 288a.
