The defendant Jimmy Williams, alias Kid Rivera, was convicted in a bench trial in the circuit court of Cook County on two counts of gambling. He was sentenced to six months in the county jail and fined $1,000 on each count, the jail sentences to run concurrently and the fines to be cumulative.
