The plaintiff, Louis V. Dusang, a carpenter, filed this suit against the defendants, Southern Desk Equipment Company, Inc., and its workmen's compensation insurer, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, endeavoring to recover the sum of $14,000.00 representing workmen's compensation for total and permanent disability which he asserts was sustained as the result of an accident which occurred in the course and scope of his employment on June 4, 1964.
