These appeals all involve the propriety of an order of the Public Service Commission which directed Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (Bell) to provide telephone service to an area in Montgomery County, Missouri. In separate cases, the Commission denied requests by Eastern Missouri Telephone Company (Eastern) and by South Missouri Telephone Company (South Missouri) to provide telephone service for this same area for the reason that Bell was being directed...
