Francis E. Hall, Jr. brought an action in the Circuit Court of Mobile County, Alabama, against World Insurance Company to recover damages resulting from an alleged breach of two insurance policies issued to Hall by World Insurance. On petition of World Insurance the case was removed to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama on the basis of diversity jurisdiction.
