BEILFUSS, J.

Subsequent to filing of the notice of Appeal the respondent, Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, filed a motion to dismiss these appeals upon two grounds— (1) that the supreme court is without jurisdiction to hear the appeal, and (2) that the petition for writ of certiorari contains no issues of law to be decided. Although the motion to dismiss the appeals was denied, we deem it advisable to reexamine the question of jurisdiction.
