In 1959, R.H. Roussey and others were owners of a parcel of land in Oxnard, California. Defendant R. Leon Edgar & Associates, Inc. (Edgar) was engaged by plaintiffs to prepare plans and specifications for a building to be built on plaintiffs' land. Edgar was to supervise that construction. Defendant Ernest W. Hahn, Inc.
