A seaman who is a Greek citizen seeks to recover under the provisions of the Jones Act and the general maritime law, for injuries sustained aboard a vessel of Liberian registry in an accident which allegedly occurred at the port of Vera Cruz, Mexico, including as an item of damages a claim for past wages and future lost earnings. In addition, he alleges that after he filed suit he was kidnapped and forcibly taken to the airport to be sent back...
