Plaintiff, a professional Civil Engineer, entered into an oral employment contract with the defendant companies, acting through their President, Eugene Luhr, by which plaintiff was employed to act as chief engineer for both defendants, and to serve as manager of the Well and Dewatering Division of Luhr Brothers, Inc.; the plaintiff commenced work on June 2, 1958.
