The appeal in this matter was originally taken to the Supreme Court of Missouri. Appellant contended that his constitutional rights were violated when the trial court changed his natural child's name from Thomas to Taylor. The Supreme Court of the State of Missouri found that there was no constitutional question before it and transferred the cause to this court for lack of jurisdiction.
