The conviction is for statutory rape; the punishment, life imprisonment.

Notice of appeal was given on April 27, 1966.

The prosecutrix, fifteen years of age, lived with her mother and father, the appellant, in the city of Houston. Two younger brothers and two younger sisters also lived in the home. The prosecutrix testified that on December 18, 1965, while her mother was at work, appellant had an act of sexual intercourse...
