OPINION

DIMOND, Justice.

Appellant was a crew member on a vessel which was moored to a barge which in turn was moored to the appellee's dock. Appellant placed an 18-foot ladder from the deck of the barge to the face of the dock, and started to climb up the ladder to take some lines to the dock. When he was about two-thirds of the way up, the ladder slipped and fell and appellant fell and was injured. He brought this action for damages against appellee. The...
