Defendant was involved in an altercation with Ben Robinson on June 1, 1951. He was charged with felonious assault with a deadly weapon,1 a wooden table leg. At commencement of trial on July 2, 1951, a second count to the information was added, charging aggravated assault, a misdemeanor.2 Thereupon, the defendant pled guilty to the misdemeanor of aggravated assault, and on July 16, 1951, was sentenced...
