In 1965 the petitioner, Darrel F. Haven, waived indictment and entered a plea of guilty to an information filed in the circuit court of Macon County which charged him with the crime of aggravated battery. He was sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than 7 nor more than 10 years. His petition for a writ of habeas corpus, filed November 16, 1966, was dismissed...
