Banco Longoria, S. A., brought suit against El Paso National Bank to recover funds deducted from plaintiff's bank account to pay for an insufficient fund check drawn by Ganado y Carnes, S. de R. L. on its Chihuahua branch. The defendant contends that payment of the check had been protected in a telephone conversation between officers of the two banks and that there was an equitable assignment to the El Paso bank of funds in the amount of $10,000...
