BEILFUSS, J.

The two alleged violations are entirely unrelated except that they were appealed to the circuit court simultaneously. They will therefore be treated separately in this opinion.

The first charge, failure to yield right-of-way, arose when the defendant was involved in a collision at the intersection of East State street and North Van Buren street in the city of Milwaukee. The movement of vehicles in this intersection was controlled by lighted traffic...
