Petitioner was charged with four counts of grand theft and five of forgery. He pleaded guilty to count 3 (grand theft) and count 9 (forgery). On July 23, 1963, the superior court suspended imposition of sentence on these counts, dismissed the other charges, and granted petitioner probation for the term of three years.
