This is an expropriation suit instituted by the State of Louisiana, through the Department of Highways, against Dr. Shelley Joseph Mouledous, under the provisions of LSA-R.S. 48:441 et seq. Plaintiff deposited $17,990.00 in the registry of the court at the time the order of expropriation was signed, and that amount was accepted and received by defendant. Later Dr. Mouledous filed an answer demanding that he be awarded an additional sum as damages because...
