At about 7:00 A.M. on the morning of April 19, 1965, Ernest Bettez and his wife left their residence located on Fieldcrest Road in Manchester, a dead end street containing about six or seven houses. Their home was unoccupied until about 12:05 P.M. when Ernest returned. He immediately discovered that a wall safe located in a walk-in closet had been removed by breaking through the wall and five ten dollar bills in the safe were also gone. Missing also were...
