A default judgment was rendered by the trial court on December 7, 1961, decreeing a final divorce between the parties to this suit and awarding to Mrs. Patricia Ann LeBlanc (now Mrs. Patricia Ann Lind) the permanent custody of their minor child, Alvin James LeBlanc. About four years later the defendant in the original suit, Alvin Joseph LeBlanc, Jr., filed a petition in this proceeding demanding that the custody of the child be removed from the mother...
