Melvin Canfield was convicted of murder in the second degree for shooting and killing Douglas Holland at 649 South 5th East, Salt Lake City, at about 9 o'clock p.m. on the night of May 10, 1965. He seeks reversal of his conviction on the grounds that the evidence does not show the intent necessary to constitute second-degree murder; that the court erred in submitting that offense to the jury; and that it committed error in rulings on evidence...
