In the fall of 1960 respondent Kadiak Fisheries Company (hereafter referred to as Kadiak) decided to repower one of its salmon fishing and cannery tending vessels, the Jaguar, and adapt it to crab fishing. Kadiak's principal officer discussed the project with the president of Alaska Pacific Supply Company (hereafter referred to as Alaska Pacific), the Western Washington "Sales Agent"1 for appellant, Murphy Diesel Company...
