The plaintiff, Louis Joseph Ledet, filed this suit individually and on behalf of his minor son, Sterling Ledet, against the defendants, the Parish of Jefferson and its liability insurer, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, in an endeavor to recover the sum of $98,968.73, representing damages which he asserts were incurred by himself and his minor son as the result of the negligent operation of one of the defendant's trucks, by its employee, William J....
