Appellants, who were defendants in a personal injury action, have appealed an order setting aside a jury verdict in their favor and granting plaintiffs a new trial. It is appellants' contention that the trial court applied an incorrect principle of law in concluding that it had committed prejudicial error in admitting, over plaintiffs' objection, certain evidence offered by defendants during the trial, which error is the basis of the order appealed...
