These actions were brought for personal injuries sustained by plaintiffs when they were burned due to an explosion in a concession stand at a church festival. The causes were consolidated for trial. All defendants except the Catholic Bishop of Chicago and Dominick Ponticelli were dismissed out of the case during the trial on motion of plaintiffs.
