Citizens & Southern National Bank, as administrator of the estate of Mrs. Winifred H. Durrett, brought suit against Mrs. Emma Andre Monroe on a promissory note in the principal amount of $2,500, executed by the defendant and made payable to the plaintiff's intestate. The defendant filed an answer in which she admitted execution of the note, but pled that the same was without any consideration whatsoever, and therefore nudum pactum and void. For further...
