In this tort action appellant Jackson is the guardian of the person and estate of her daughter, appellant Gloria D. Mathis, a pedestrian injured in a roadside accident. Appellee is the owner and driver of the motor vehicle which struck and seriously injured Miss Mathis as she stood or walked on the roadside of an interstate highway in New Mexico.
