Appellants instituted an action for personal injury and property damage in the Federal District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. The injuries and damages resulted from a two-car collision that occurred on the Fort Knox United States Military Reservation, so jurisdiction could be based on either diversity of citizenship or a federal question.
