In this application for a writ of habeas corpus, the petitioner states that he is imprisoned in Orleans Parish Prison, that he was charged with illegal possession of barbiturates, that he has been found not guilty but is nonetheless still being detained, and that he is being kept in jail on charges based solely on an illegal search and seizure, and is being denied the rights guaranteed...
