HAYNSWORTH, Chief Judge:

The defendant appeals from his conviction on a charge of possession of narcotics, contending that his arrest and incidental search were illegal because of delays in the execution of an arrest warrant.

A concededly valid arrest warrant charging the defendant with narcotic violations was issued in the District of Columbia. Narcotic agents testified that they attempted to locate the defendant in order to execute the warrant by surveillance...
