This action was brought by Federal Barge Lines, Inc (Federal) against Star Towing Co., Inc. (Star) for damages to its Barge FBL-11 which broke away from Star's Fleet on the afternoon of April 14, 1962 and was damaged when it drifted down upon an anchored ship.
