The plaintiff, who was employed by the defendant as a member of the crew of a tugboat, was injured when the tug sank. He sued for maintenance and cure and for damages resulting from the injuries suffered by him, setting forth claims under both the Jones Act and the general maritime law, and he demanded trial by jury.
