This is a suit to recover certain estate taxes and interest thereon which were alleged to have been erroneously assessed and collected. The action was commenced on June 21, 1966, by the plaintiff, Mrs. Ruth DeLancey, as executrix of the estate of her deceased husband, Charles W. DeLancey. The defendant, the United States, filed its answer on August 19, 1966, and the cause was tried to the court on February 6, 1967...
