KILKENNY, District Judge:

Plaintiff is a citizen of Oregon and defendant is a citizen of Connecticut. Plaintiff was employed by defendant as its West Coast manager in charge of its Western Regional Offices in Portland, Oregon. Defendant agreed to pay plaintiff a salary of $18,000.00 a year, plus an annual bonus of $3,000.00.
